What you're saying is really interesting; these are things I notice, but no one ever points them out to me. I was surprised you noticed this. The truth is, I now see these popular "productivity" topics from an artist's perspective. I used to write in a more general way, but little by little I'm becoming more interested in learning about productivity, creativity, and everything related to writing. I see these topics from the point of view of how they affect an artist or writer, and I think that makes me feel more comfortable writing and also connects better than a generic topic.

It's interesting to watch and experience the growing process of creatives. None of us ever reaches perfection, of course. There's always a little tweak that can be done on a poem or essay. When I attended a poetry reading, I watched the "featured poet" sitting there, rereading his work and penciling in whatever in his work. It never ends, and that's what makes it so exciting.

I'm glad the text inspired you. I didn't know anything about Montaigne until I stumbled across this book about his personal essays, which are almost a diary. I don't think he even intended to publish many of them. On another note, yes, I offer this consulting service because I want to help people who, like me, started from scratch and weren't sure how to get their name out there. I'm French and I've never read Montaigne. You're making me want to read him. His writing seems much more accessible than I expected.
