The truth is, I knew almost nothing about Maya Angelou until I started researching her. She's not a well-known author here in Spain, or at least that's the impression I get. It was quite a discovery to learn more about her, really.
Once again, it turns out that behind all those achievements and talents, there was a very methodical person, deeply committed to her craft.
True. She and Ray Bradbury were astonishingly prolific and influencial here in the U.S. AND both of them wrote habitually every day, pumping out those stories, books, and poems with regular routines as you've described here. That's what it takes to succeed in anything.
